The first feature film competition hosted by MOTELx - Lisbon International Horror Film Festival will be exclusive to European horror films. The winner will be nominated for the international Méliès d'Or feature film competition, hosted annually by the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation. MOTELx is Portugal's representative in the Federation.
Another highlight is the return of the MOTELx Award - Best Portuguese Horror Short Film, the highest money price given to short films in Portugal (€5,000). The winner also gets an inspirational weekend at Belver Hotels, one of the Festival's sponsors, and is nominated for the Méliès d'Or short film competion.
MOTELx returns between 6 and 11 September to Cinema São Jorge, in Lisbon, for an unforgettable 10th anniversary.
